G-Shock Mudmaster GG-B100BA-1AER British Army Limited Edition, Mint Condition

  
This is a hugely impressive watch, one of the latest additions to the G-Shock'Master of G' range. It was designed in collaboration with Britains Ministry of Defence and Her Majestys Armed Forces, and is the brand new'British Army Limited Edition' version. With its rugged appearance and camouflage case and strap it always attracts attention, and despite being very new, is already developing a following.

A watch that seems to really'mean business' with serious wrist presence. The military-themed watch has a beige band with a camouflage pattern, a black bezel, white markers, an inverted LCD display with beige-tinted digits, and a stainless steel band keeper with the British Army insignia. G-Shock released a promotional video for the watch (see url below). Base is the latest Mudmaster. An extra-rugged analog-digital line featuring a mud-and-dust-resistant structure.

The GG-B100 utilizes the Carbon Core Guard. Structure and has a carbon fiber bezel and a dual case back with a resin exterior. Major features of the GG-B100BA-1A include the Quad Sensor (altimeter-barometer, thermometer, compass, step counter), Bluetooth mobile link, calorimeter (a calorie counter utilizing the altimeter and step tracking sensors), carbon fiber bezel, trackback feature with location indicator, mode menu customization, stopwatch, countdown timer (24 hour), 5 daily alarms, sunrise/sunset time, and auto double LED (Super Illuminator) lights. As a former soldier, this particular watch immediately appealed to me when it launched in March 2020. They have already begun to increase in price, as the Limited Edition reaches the end of its run, so it's an absolute gift at this price. You now have the opportunity to get one of the remaining'new' stocks..

I'm something of a watch addict - mainly diving watches - so this was a bit of a departure for me, although it is water-resistant to 200 metres (660ft, 20 bar). However, I have now focused my attention on a Sinn UX which is a lot more expensive, so I've decided it's time to'thin' my collection..

You read it here first - I might also sell my vintage Seiko 7548, which I bought for my first diving expedition in Cyprus in 1978.
