This edition of Stephenson's Rocket was produced in 1982 by Hornby based on the original model made by Triang in the 1960 , but can be distinguished from the original model by having metal wheels. I have owned this model since new and it has never been run. It was displayed in a glass fronted cabinet in our smoke free home for a few years and then kept in it's box for the rest of its life. It is therefore in mint condition in a very good box , with 3 coaches Experience, Times & Dispatch.

If it is intended to run this loco I would suggest that it is serviced first. At the moment it does not move , but after nearly 40 years it probably needs a little oil. Please see photos which form part of the description.
