Practical Tricycle to carry 2 kids on the back. Very good for the school run or a ride out with the family.

We mainly used this for taking the children to school and nursery. We wanted a eco-friendly way of getting around with some fun! It has had occasional use and only been out on rain free, sunny days. It was much easier to park than the car at busy times near the school and we actually found it quicker than driving in between school and nursey. It takes a little bit of getting used to as it handles completely differently to an ordinary bike (I've been a cyclist for years) but once you're used to it, it can be a lot of fun.

Both our boys loved going on the back. You will need a new safety harness for the child seat as I've removed the one that originally came with the trike. The seat is easily big enough for 2 kids. (ours were 5 and 3 years old when we used it the most).

The condition of the trike is excellent. It has been well looked after as it was crazy expensive when we bought it, and seemingly even harder to get hold of since Covid started. There are marks and scratches that you would expect from a used bike, but you can see in the pictures that the paint is very shiny and bold and a beautiful bright colour.

The colour is dark blue & is supposed to be a limited edition. It has been stored in the garage since new (car kept outside) and our garage is carpeted which has helped keep the condition nice when working on the trike. The trike can be tipped backwards/upright for maintenance - just be careful with the paintwork. The worst areas of condition are the bumper rails along the edges of the wheels/mudguards. It is obviously much wider than a standard bike and going through gates/posts or width restrictions have to be thought about before you get there. If you line up the trike before hand, maneuvering is much easier in tight spots, this again is different from a normal bike and needs a bit of getting used to. The rest of the paint is in very good condition which you can see from the photos. There is no rust on the trike anywhere except for a tiny bit of pitting on some of the chrome areas like the handlebars, which again is to be expected and would probably polish out with a little elbow grease. The chain and Shimano SIS gears are in excellent condition (no rusting) - It comes with 6 speed Shimano gears. Both the adult seat and the double child seat are in excellent condition and have no rips or tears like some of the second hand trikes out there for sale.

The handle bar grips are also in good condition, no rips in the rubber. It has an anti-slip mat for the kids to step onto when getting on the bike in excellent clean condition. The pedals have double reflectors, and there are 2 reflectors to the rear of the trike one each mudguard.

It has parking breaks for front and rear wheels. All the wheels are straight and true, no bad buckling, and the tyres are in excellent condition, still with the original branding on the side walls and the little bits of rubber that stick out from the manufacturing process. Tyre size is 20" x 1.75". The original frame number is clearly stamped into the frame where the handle bar stem goes - this bike is a genuine item. The dimensions or the trike are approximately 780mm wide and 1860mm long so think about how you will store it. With the front wheel turned sideways it fits into a smaller gap of about. 1650mm long which helps, but you may need a cover for it to keep the rain off it you don't have a big enough shed/garage available. Also think about where you want to ride it.. Overall it's great fun and ideal for the school run.

I've tried to be as honest and accurate as possible with my listing and have spent time putting more information here than you get on the suppliers own website. This will require a Tool set, socket set and spanners as well as screwdrivers and a link remover for the chain. It will split into 2 main sections so the whole trike doesn't need taking apart for transport, but cables will have to be loosened and the chain will have to come apart.

There were Youtube videos online which helped with the building of the trike, so reviewing those would help the dismantling, but as long as you have a basic knowledge of bike maintenance you should be fine.
