A beautiful lady's Limited Edition Retro watch in Excellent Condition in a 18K gold plated case with a serviced Swiss jeweled quartz movement. We consider the case, hands and dial in excellent condition. Since it has a 30 year-old movement, we cleaned, oiled and adjusted it to make sure it would continue to function to its original specifications. This watch keeps perfect time and will lose less than 20 seconds a year. Hamilton made this watch in Switzerland and this series remains the one of its kind. Watch industry insiders and critics consider Hamilton's Art Deco watches from the 1930's as the finest wind-up watches ever made. Reviving those models allowed Hamilton to help the Swiss regain their position as the world's leading watchmakers. Hamilton advertised the reissues as a revival of American Design Excellence Replicated from Original Hamilton Dies. American Express Platinum Club offered the next model, the Wilshire, through its 1985 Christmas catalog.

At the end of World War II Hamilton reintroduced the Wilshire among others made from the 1939 collection. The third wave of reissued classic Hamilton Art Deco models became available in 1982 and again in 1986.
