Hornby Dublo 3 Rail type L11 No 60022 A4 Mallard 462 class. Locomotive is in Mint condition box is also in very good condition comes complete with oil, spanner and guarantee certificate. The Hornby Dublo Mallard appeared initially with Mazac main driving wheels, the BR totem was modified, and the coarse handrails were more refine. The bogie trailing wheels are made of plastic and the pony wheels are also plastic. All driving wheels are nickle plated. The locomotive has been serviced and tested on my own layout and it is running extremely well.

The full size locomotive attained a world speed record for steam traction of 126 miles per hour. On the 3rd July 1938 it broke the record. Only 4 A4 locomotives has been fitted with the kylchap double exhaust system and were always better runners and freers steamers than their single chimney sisters.
