Tolkien, The Hobbit, 1976 First Deluxe Edition, Rare. Bound in black buckram cloth, with gilt artwork on the front boards, depicting tolkien's'Green Dragon', gilt stamped in red, silver & gold.

Gilt compartments with Title, Author, and publisher on the spine this has worn off slighly at the bottom. Book has a slight lean to the right. No names or writing noted in the book. There is staining to cloth cover and pages, which i have tried to show the worst of in pictures. Most pages are completely clean and bright, illustrations clean and bright.

Creasing to two minor creases to two pages at the start. The page where it looks like a big fold to page is just a pencil mark. Maps are bound in, rather than used as the endpapers. Lacking the publishers box but book is in Good Condition other than what is noted and for age.
