BRACELET SIZE: 8 inches MOVEMENT: Manual wind, straight-line escapement CALIBER: 7000 The Corum Golden Bridge was designed in 1977 by talented Italian watchmaker Vincent Calabrese.

Straight-line escapements had existed in clocks previously, but this was the first time the movement was miniaturized for a wristwatch. There was a general malaise in the industry in the late 1970s and the Golden Bridge was a response to a general feeling that mechanical watch movements were dead. The Golden Bridge was a hit when it was introduced in 1980 and has been in continuous production for over 40 years, becoming synonymous with the brand. The present example is a limited edition of 99 produced. Dial is in mint condition.

Case is in excellent condition, with micro scratches visible. Movement is running at time of cataloging. Overall, the present example is in excellent condition.
