Our Repair Shop professionally services each typewriter. We have 10 years of experience in restoring thousands of typewriters. We always work hard to make these machines shine and type smoothly again. They're taken apart, thoroughly cleaned (deep chemical cleaning) reassembled, oiled, and adjusted.

Also polished or repainted if needed and if it's possible. The Patria, unlike the other Spanish typewriters, was not invented in Spain, but was a licensed copy of the Swiss Patria, invented by Otto Haas. In 1954, Imperial Española patented a design using a one-piece aluminum frame and modified type levers.

Around 1962, the typewriter was relabeled Amaya. Rare red makes it a very special typewriter!

We couldn't find any register of a red Patria, but after inspection, we are sure that the paint is original, so probably it was a limited edition custom made for a client. All of our typewriters are professionally serviced.

Refurbished (professionally repainted), clean, excellent working condition.
