This Studio item is a rare special limited edition set made to celebrate the start of the new millennium and based on studio boxes of similar style that were available during the nineteenth century. To compliment the solid teak wooden chest, this luxury item boasts brass exterior fittings (handles and Knobs) , a front locking key, a discrete internal locking mechanism to access the lower draw (see image above) a deep well concealed by two removable paint tube trays and a treasure trove of the best quality oil paint materials and equipment available. Unused and in immaculate condition with only a few minor cosmetic blemishes on some of the packaging items, this luxury studio set has maintained all its original features and contents and would be a delightful piece for any serious artist or collector. Note: The teak used in the making of this chest has been oiled with teak oil and wood would benefit from occasional treatment of such oil.
