Like all Music Man guitars, the fit and finish is sublime and of course it has an exquisite neck, which in this case is made from some stunning roasted flamed maple with a gunstock oil and hand rubbed wax finish to it. The Music Man Albert Lee HH puts a tasty spin on the original SSS model.
Sharing the same modern retro appearance as the SSS, the HH features an African mahogany body and 25.5 scale length figured roasted maple neck. The addition of two medium output custom wound DiMarzio humbuckers and a 5-way switch ensures this tasty piece is able to provide a full range of tonal options, from full-on humbucker warmth to chimey clean single coil bite. Only seventy-five examples of this sensational guitar were produced worldwide under the Ball Family Reserve (BFR) label, with only 3 coming to the UK and this one's in practically pristine unplayed condition, with the only thing of note being the very common tiny neck pocket lacquer crack as show in one of the photos and a slight tarnishing on one of the bridge saddles. It's signed by Albert Lee himself on the backplate and travels in it's fitted Music Man hardcase. Neck Material: Roasted flamed maple.
