It's most unusual function is a built in drum sequencer with various rhythms (featuring 6 drum patterns created specifically for the watch by Tetsuya Komuro, a famous Japanese songwriter and DJ / producer). The BPM rate can be varied up/down to suit. The metronome is displayed visually (a flashing light) or a beep. Emitted by a speaker built into case.
