Rotring 1996 Millennium Annual Limited Edition fountain art pen in. To celebrate the 2nd Millennium, Rotring launched a new edition Millennium art pen each year starting in 1996 through the end of the millennium in limited editions of 6000 pens each. Each pen bears a serial number on top of the cap opposite of the clip, making it a highly desirable item for collectors and pen connoisseurs.

Included is a certificate with matching serial number and signed by a'Pen master. The metal cap has a hand lacquered finish with a total of 8 coats of lacquer giving it a mother of pearl effect. No two caps are alike. The barrel of the pen is made of American cherry wood.

The pen's nib is hand polished bicolor gold plated with a medium size nib. Original box, wood case, dust cloth and authentication papers, as pictured.
