Royal Navy Field Gun Poster GUNS AND GUTS Original Rare fantastic condition. For anyone who was not lucky enough to witness the Royal Tournament in person or didn't have the opportunity to see the television coverage, it's difficult to imagine the scale of the Royal Tournament. The Tournament began as a series of skill at arms competitions however; it quickly evolved to include military bands and a variety of acts and displays. Staged in London each summer, the Tournament was different each year.

In the latter years, each Tournament was given a theme as each of the three armed services took it in turn to take the lead. The opening and finale of each show would often include huge numbers of musicians and performers. Two elements of the Tournament earned a place in the programme each year. Which was a part of the Tournament from 1907 and the Musical Drive by the Royal Artillery. The poster depicts entire Royal Navy Field Gun Competition: the origins, the gun, the course, the men, the competition and the trophies.

This original field gun poster dated: 1988. Designed by Robin Johnson Design Consultancy Ltd. Printer by Westerham Press Ltd.

Owned since 1988 from the Royal Tournament. Sellotape has been placed to the rear to stop any further splitting. Only ever rolled and never folded, so no creases. Colours are still vibrant as not been in direct sunlight. Other than the small tear, the poster is in remarkable condition for its age.

Framed this poster would look amazing. I believe that this is a truly rare poster, I personally cannot find it anywhere online, if you feel free to let me know.
