RARE Micro Metakit Brass Germany HO SNCF Express Locomotive 241-A 65 (4-8-2) type Nr 06307H as Prototype. Museum Quality -Handbuilt Quality and in Superb Condition. This is one of the finest models ever made by Micro Metakit!

The model is highly detailed - it has over 2000 parts- with Brass fittings including plates on both sides of cab and tender. The model is numbered 241-A65 see plate on each side of cab-and is functional like the prototype. The original Locomotive was built in 1931 - it ran between Basel and Paris-and is still used for tourist trains today in Switzerland. It was one of the largest European locomotives ever built.

Professionally made in Germany in 2007 by Micro Metakit -see underside of model. The model is of a limited edition Nr 82 of 140 made. And Professionally Painted to Museum Standard in Black with Red pin stripe lining and gold type boiler bands plus brass whistle-see pics. The model has sprung buffers and cab doors and scale model couplings. The Locomotive has large non working headlamps and superbly detailed Pistons with detailed piston box together with highly detailed parts.

In addition the model has full inside working piston motion as the original prototype which is a remarkable accomplishment. The model runs very smoothly with a brushless Faulhaber motor.

This model is in Superb Condition and very highly detailed / the Interior of the cab is also highly detailed. Please note the original packaging is supplied with detailed information by Micro Metakit and Their special numbered certificate. Also see plates under the model. This is a very RARE HO Collectors Model which has been kept in a Glass Cabinet.
