Vintage RARE 1963 Rolex 18k Datejust Ref. 1601 from Estate! Excellent Condition

  

Collectible Rolex 1601 18k Datejust Model! Up for sale is an authentic RARE vintage 1. Rolex 18k gold 1601 model Oyster Perpetual Datejust with Dauphine hands!

The watch is in a 36 mm 18k yellow gold case, and will fit 20 mm straps. The case and crystal are in excellent condition. The dial is marked: Rolex Oyster Perpetual Datejust Superlative Chronometer Officially Certified T Swiss T.

The lume pip at 3 o'clock is mostly crumbled away. There is one ding on the outside edge of the crystal at 2 o'clock. There are light scratches on the case, and some scratches on the back of the lugs from where the original bracelet was removed. The serial number of the watch is 9947XX. The model number is 1601.

The model and serial numbers are clearly readable between the lugs. The watch winds, sets, and runs. The date flips over properly at midnight. The watch will wind and set, but it is stiff, and servicing is recommended.

We do not know the service history, and we do not guarantee the time keeping accuracy of this watch. The non-Rolex leather strap has been fitted with a genuine gold plated Rolex buckle.

The watch comes exactly as photographed and described. We did not get the original bracelet, box, or papers with this watch.
