Vintage Seiko 1/100 Chronograph Watch, Ref 7T59-6A00, 90's, 40mm, Great Condition

  
Welcome to the sale of this stunning Vintage Seiko 1/100 Chronograph Watch, Ref. The watch was produced sometime in the late 90's and for the age is in excellent condition both externally and internally. Externally the watch is in great condition overall. The case and crystal both have minor signs of wear, most notably on the crystal with nothing of major significance. The dial I would describe as perfect. Both the bezel and caseback are also very good overall. There is some plating fade in places as to be expected. Internally the watch is running flawlessly and keeping great time. All the functions on the watch are working perfectly also. The movement in this watch was actually the first ever quartz, 1/100 second chronograph ever produced.

The watch is 40mm in diameter, so perfectly wearable by today's standards. The watch comes on its original strap, which I would also describe as in almost perfect condition, with some wear to the plating as to be expected. The bracelet will currently fit a wrist up to 20cm in diameter. The watch does not come with its original box or papers.

Overall this is an amazing piece of seiko history in truly stunning condition for the age. As mentioned above this was the world's first quartz 1/100 second chronograph movement ever produced, and to find an example in this condition is extremely rare. This is also the rarer all gold model.
