Visionaire 12 Desire 1994, 1237/2000 Very Good Condition. Visionaire is a legendary art proliferator who have released 69 distinct collectable art experiences since 1991. Their editions are unique and distinctive and rare. This is edition #12 from 1994.

12 DESIRE is Visionaire's collaboration with DIFFA, Design Industries Foundation Fighting AIDS. The art dealer Paul Morris helped gather all the original artwork printed in the issue, which was then exhibited at Charles Cowles Gallery and auctioned, with all of the proceeds benefiting DIFFA's charitable programs. The issue comes in a red-satin case with bone latches, modeled after Chinese brocade jewelry boxes. These were made by hand in China.

Each edition opens with an actual print of a three-dimensional photograph of Shalom Harlow shot by Stephane Sednaoui. Sixty more artists contributed their own sexy and suggestive imagery, including Steven Meisel, Barbara Kruger, Nobuyoshi Araki, Nan Goldin, Ross Bleckner, David Armstrong, Jack Pierson, Steven Klein, and Bjork.

The box shows slight signs of wear but the art is all impeccably pristine. Each if the 60+ prints measure 8 1/2x11.
